HR606 !!

Ordered on May 5, 2016. Built on May 25, 2017.
Lightning Blue - Stripe Delete - No Black Roof - R Electronics Package.

Sweet ride. Interesting facts here, esp since the post that they will build 1000 Rs in MY17. I ordered my base R on Apr 17, 2016, was built Mar 1 2017 and delivered 5/22/17. Mine is HR303. My VIN is 3467, so they also built 1051 non Rs.

So in the last 2 months they built as many as they did in the first 8 months or so. :cheers:

Ummm..... It seems to be short some R wheels and wing?

Looks like it was built but not yet sent out for stripes (when ordered), wheels and spoiler. I got a short vid of mine from a Ford employee at that same state. Looked the same.

did they change the font on the serial #?

Obviously it has not hit the Mod Shop yet.

So they ship with non-R wheels and no wing installed? Huh?

On a side note, here's R #606!! Goes to show that we are going to get 1000 this year.

As I mentioned earlier the car now has to go to the Mod Shop for CF wheel and CF rear spoiler installation. I believe the Ford stripping machine is also located there as well.

The only part that will not be assembled on the car will be the front chin spoiler and it will be sitting on the front passenger seat for installation when it arrives at the dealership.

Hopefully the delivering dealership will remember to remove the polyurethane shipping blocks from the front and rear springs!!

Car literally just came off the line. It hasn't gone to the Mod Shop yet for wheels, spoiler, rear seat delete carpet, etc. Then it goes to QC. Then waits to be scheduled for a train.

Those wheels aren't even base wheels, I don't think. Gotti sent me two videos of the car, and they have colored paint on the them, and the tires. Looks like they recycle them for builds.

Does the hr606 mean this is the 606th R built in 2017, or total built since conception?

I am only speaking for myself but I suggest that you and I are two of the more senior members on here and I mean that only from an age standpoint and lots to learn from these young guns!!

Not sure if you were around when these came out but I got beat so bad in 3 stop light to stop light races back in 1969 that I had to go out and buy one so my son and I bought this unit 21 years ago.
