The tips fit the Bumper well.

Well it looks like my first Dyno run was an anomaly or not corrected accurately. I did another Baseline pull before the exhaust and put down 382hp/355tq. With just the addition of Gibson Exhaust (no tuning or cold air), the Mustang put down 394hp/364tq peak. The biggest gains came from 2000-4000 rpm which with a peak gain of 36hp over stock. And there is nice kick in the "butt" dyno. Time for some tuning with HP Tuners.

Nice numbers!

I'm surprised that the new 2nd gen Coyote isn't beating the F150 Coyote engine in my 96 Cobra. I made 395/390 (SAE/smoothing 5 Dynojet like yours) with the stock engine, tuned (of course), with the FRPP Control Pack, and the BBK swap long tube headers and JLT cold air. I know the Mustang Coyote makes more HP but less torque in control pack swap setup like mine.

JLT says their cold air kit WITH a tune is making 28-35 HP on a 2015 Coyote so that should put you well beyond 400 (maybe 420) and torque around 385.

Damn! That things sounds good!

There is a lot of power in the intake/tune/longtubes. Apples to apples the second gen motors are more efficient and have more power potential then the first gen Coyotes. Our ultimate plan includes a couple of "hairdryers" so we will be overkill for road racing and Autocross, but overkill is what we do.

Looking forward to seeing more. The 27 lbs you lost is equivalent to ~3 more HP (in terms of power-to-weight). :)

Here is what the top of the center resonator looks like after 1 track day! Do you think there is some flow restriction?

Our car is back over at our friends at Vorshlag's shop today for 3d mapping for the Camber plates and MCS coil overs! We have a SCCA time trial event on Jan. 17th so we better hurry!

Sock, are you sure the second baseline was not the anomaly? Others are claiming no gains with catbacks, which your first baseline confirms.

I went back and checked the first baseline and it was not corrected properly. Which is why I did the second baseline before install. There is definitely a gain with the cat back, you don't even need the dyno to tell. I am going to try to tune the car today and we will see if we can get some more out of it.

I wonder how much of a restriction was removed by adding the x pipe?

You would think if it were much of a restriction the guys adding catback systems would be seeing bigger gains though.
