Custom Roush decklid finally finished. Pleased with the outcome. Car's on jacks on the right side until I get my headlights and wheels/tires back

Got my two wheels on the passenger side powdercoated today and, although the guy did great work, I'm not happy with the significant color change. I seen a sample before we went forward with it and it didn't look much different, just a little. It's like night and day now.

Contemplating on just going with a completely different color now or bring all 4 back and get them a shade darker. :frusty:

Headlights are on the way back with the RGBWA lights installed .

Looking forward to seeing the headlights installed!

Finally got my RGBWA DRL LED boards back and installed in the car.




The lights look absolutely beautiful!

If I can just be honest for a sec though, I have to admit that the table in Step #9 within the instruction manual changed my life today (pretty frustrating). The wiring and everything was going perfectly fine until I noticed that my driver headlight did the sequential amber just fine upon turning on, but then it stayed solid amber while the passenger light went to cool white.

I spent several hours scratching my head, calling up Diode Dynamics and Retro Shop, taking out wires and putting wires in trying to replicate the issue on the right side, and googling on my phone for assistance.

The instruction manual says "YELLOW -> light green/orange for driver side". In fact, it's supposed to be the wire on the very end which is like blue and green:



Am I missing something here or is this a mistake? I figured maybe this still may have been the correct wire.

Either way, Diode Dynamics and Retro Shop had great service and assisted me throughout the whole way. Retro Shop actually suggested I try the blue/green wire and that's what fixed it for me.

Really satisfied with the way the lights came out. I did have a few struggles throughout the process though, like this:



And this had nothing to do with anything wrong with the actual wiring. It was just me switching out the setup over and over and over trying to troubleshoot the driver headlight and I guess I just pulled a little too hard. This required me to splice. After connecting everything back up, I realized I had the Switchback Driver Boards connected to the wrong lights (from when I was troubleshooting) so the sequentials were going the opposite direction. Had to take off the bumper, swap the boards to the other sides, and then slice some more.

May look into possibly just ordering new wiring in case my splicing fails me one day, depending on the costs and stuff.

Also gonna probably go ahead and put the steeda vertical links in tomorrow since I have all 4 wheels off being powdercoated. Might as well

Sure looks like a green wire to me, I'd have picked it as well ! The other looks blue to me.

Yeah lol. It's confusing as hell. Turns out that I know another person who had the exact same problem.
