I would say yes, I have had great winter success with a 911S with winter tires, I have used both Dunlop Winter Sport 3D and Pierelli Scorpion Ice and Snow, I would choose these performance winter tires over Blizzaks

Interesting, how do you mean? in addition to seeing the GT350 today, I also looked at bunch of 16 GT's and actually was allowed to drive a 2016 Mustang GT premium, leather, track pack, etc and it had hard plastic.

Thanks, yes I have ordered a 17 or at least I a have deposit on one and hoping 'soft door rollover' is the fix... FWIW i still enjoy the heck out of current mustang GT, even with the hard plastic!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the brutal honesty about quality, I know it can be subjective and emotional :) If the GT350 quality is in-line with Lincoln's then I would say it is a step up from my 12. As soon as I can get to Chicago in a couple of weeks I am planning to look at them in person.

Do you all think we will see Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires available for the base GT350? How much of a performance increase do you think Cup 2's would provide over Super Pilots on a base GT350? Any experienced GT350/R track guys care to comment? Would this close the gap too much...

In the 2017 order guide it states a feature called 'soft door rollover' is part the R electronics package (67S) and standard electronics package (67T). Does anyone know what this is?

Not sure I believe most of the comments... as always the market will speak, asking or listing price are obviously very different from selling price... IMHO when the rest of the 16 builds are delivered, the 2017 350R's will still have some ADM from some dealers, but the standard 2017 350 will not...
