Equal length headers on a boxer still sounds different then a typical inline 4 cylinder.
The very nature of the boxer has the headers unequal length unless you do some weird bends to make them equal out, like shown in the video. So it's somewhat a byproduct of the engine design which is why...
Hold up! SRT 4 best turbo 4 banger sound?! I think this is up for debate.
I'd have to say a WRX/Sti with a nice exhaust takes the win on turbo 4 bangers engine sound. There's no tune or exhaust on any other car that can replicate that boxer engine note.
*Speakers with subwoofer required to...
Your's is heresay. Your claiming 99% which is not even the case on a forum that is mostly modded. There have been members on here stock with blown motors. Let's just say 1 stock for arguments sake that means you would need 99 blown modded motors on this forum to satisfy your bogus 99% stat.
I...
Ya which is why I said odds of motor blown of ecoboosts *on this forum* and not the odds of any ecoboost motor blowing.
Either way, one of these blown motor threads *another one bit the dust* post #70 is a had a Ford tech and he said of the 6 blown motors that have been in his shop 4 of them...
Hey guys I know a lot of folks, like myself never check the marketplace. Just a heads up there's a few COBB Access ports selling at $100 off retail that are practically brand new in the marketplace. Mine is one of them in the bunch send me a PM if interested!
If the belt looks good then maybe it's one of the wheel pulleys that it's on. Maybe the bearings need some lube on one of them. When you look off the belt did you try to spin the pulley wheels to see if any were squeaky?
Looks like the price of the engine has dropped from $3,500 to $2,600-2700 depending on performance pack.
That's cheap as hell for a brand new assembly.

What's the count on this forum for blown ecoboost motors? I was trying to add them up but lost count. If we have the number of forum member and the # of blown motors we can come up with an odds, haha like if you're on this forum you have a 1 in 1000 chance your motor will blow...
Anyhow, sorry...
*SOLD*
$100 discount off retail. Will arrive exactly like it would if buying directly from COBB! Only a few months old and was only hooked up to load tune on and then stored safely (not kept in car).
Still looks brand new.

SOLD
Lightly used Cobb ACESSport. Still looks brand new. Unmarried. No scratches ect. Comes exactly like it was shipped to me from COBB. Cables, manual, Cobb carrying case, box, and an extra rally blue face plate still in wrapper. $420 shipped to your door. Selling because I traded in the stang.
Much quieter that a NA inline 4 with no muffler. The turbo itself acts somewhat of a muffler. My buddy has a s2000, it was loud as hell with his invidia exhaust when he was NA, once we slapped a turbo on it the thing no joke was half the volume.
H pipe doesn't make sense on an inline 4. You would have an extra pipe with nothing to connect to. You only have one pipe coming down from the engine bay. H and X pipes are used in an application where you have two headers coming down from an engine such as a V8 or V6. You would need a Y pipe if...
You have all those mods and no tune!? If everything is tight and there's no leaks like you say, your car might be going into limp mode since there's no tune. Your 02 sensors are reading rich as fuck with a straight downpipe and since you don't have your ecu calibrated to let it know what's going...
They explained it as it will cover anything oem on your car even if you have aftermarket parts on your car but it will not pay to fix aftermarket parts that have broken. So you can't put a crate motor in and have them replace it if it blows or you can't have them replace a blown after market...
It sounds to good to be true given our circumstances and what we want to use it for. But if you take into account they have hundreds of thousands of customers paying for this insurance that will never use it. It only goes for 7 years/ 100 miles, you have to put it on early and you have to be the...
He trying to say that if it's within the warranty period that geico will defer it to Ford, in that case it is free anyway and you have your standard warranty kick in. Only problem is that ford will decline if you are heavily modded and tuned. So he's saying that you can't use the ford warranty...
I know someone said that it doesn't matter what they say on the phone and that its what written in the contract, well the contract says that they cover in excess of warranty. I would take that as it will be covered if your declined dealer warranty.
Either way, if you interrupt the written part...
