How much of the fluid will come out just by removing the drain plug? Will I need to pump out any residual fluid left or will most come out just by draining from the plug

I have noticed a lot of people are leaving a small space between the main stripe and the pinstripe. Is there a reason for this? I am assuming we are all trying for the GT350 look and they do not have a space between them. I am having my Big Worm gloss black narrow stripes with a white pinstripe...
