Optimum Performance I've been reading your thread about the BG Kit and was wanting to talk to someone in regards to the kit and brake pads. Can you point me in the right direction?

Any updates? My Coyote Red build has the BMR parts you have and they really help cornering. I will remove the "sound tube" today & cut the resonator off the stock air box. Keep us updated, thanks for the views. Powerstop brake rotors are an option for your brakes, check into those.

Nothing as of yet. I went to put the Strut Tower Brace and Cowl Brace on, but there were no bolts for them. Kind of annoying, so now I have to find a shop that sells the M10x1.5 bolts to put on. Making turns while daily driving the car, the body roll is extremely noticeable to me and some passengers. So I'm looking forward to seeing if these braces will actually minimize body roll. As far as the BMR Cradle Lockout and Front Brace, those are yet to be installed. I have no idea what is taking so long for the front brace to get here! My HPDE isn't till June 17th, however I'm eager to go asap. I might try to go to another track prior to "The Ring."

As far as what's next is reliability. On order is

Amsoil 5w-20 SS
BG Transmission and Diff fluids
FRPP Racing Oil Filter
Castrol SRF Brake Fluid
MPSS 4S Tires should be here Wednesday
Oil Separtor
G-Loc R8 Brake Pads

I'm really thinking about getting designated rotors just for the track. The stock 4 pistons set up on the Non-PP is great for DD, but track and DD are totally different. Reading about the different compounds of brake pads against rotors concerns me. I just want to do everything right the first time unlike my 13 I had. I started with power and that was the wrong answer.

There are multiple reason I went with this tire and not because it is the newest thing. Took me three months to decide. First is the new tread wear for dry and wet driving conditions feature a silica-infused wet compound designed to increase wet braking performance. Variable Contact Patch 3.0 optimizes pressure distribution across the contact patch through turns, reducing hot spots and improving tire life during aggressive use (Tire Rack description). And the twin steel belts inside the tire. The ride is 200% better...1st to 3rd gear shifting has no wheel hop at all shifting normally. When I got on the Autobahn, wheel hop has been eliminated by my opinion, 90%. The grip is magical, the noise level of the tire is magically none and the speed rating of the tire matches this car perfectly! The width allows more contact on the road for me at high speeds while driving the Autobahn and I'm a novice road course racer. The height I think is good for "ME" at this point, concerned about apexs. Staying with 18's because they are lighter and depending on what brand you chose, they still clear big brake kits. So for the purpose of my build is tires, brake fluid, brake pads and all fluid flush with better quality than stock. From that point I will drive the car stock until I reach the cars potential and the drivers potential (me). After that point I'll move to suspension and so on.

Still at a halt as in what to do next. I'm trying to think reliability first, but be sensible at the same time. I'm looking at the DBA T3 rotors for the front and back with some GLoc brake pads. However, I'm thinking with the stock rotors basically still brand new do I need new rotors at this time for my first HPDE in a month? Changing from track pads back to DD pads on the same rotor doesn't seem to be the thing to do. What to do...what to do!

Sorry, we typically do not capitalize on Holidays. We will be having some sales throughout the Summer but Brake Pads will never be one of those items.

Got my GLoc R8's in the mail today, couple days before my first track event with this car. However, reading the instructions it states turning the rotors is recommend before installing them on rotors using OEM/different pads. Is this absolutely necessary? I think with only 2700 miles, just cleaning the rotors off would be okay.
