If you had a mechanical breakdown or accident at the track and your car is disabled, what do you do?
The mind spins over the various issues and challenges, all while feeling stressed about an unfortunate situation:
I have a friend that tows his track-only car, but even if I shadowed his track schedule and put my broken car on his trailer, his track car is not legal to drive on the roads. Or I could call the wife, but that's asking her to rent a trailer, hitch it up, buy a winch, and drive 200 miles to come get me.
AAA and Hagerty offer 100 miles of towing, but what would an additional 100 miles cost?
Just thinking in advance and hoping I don't jinx myself. I tried search but did not find any relevant hits.

- Track facility closing soon
- Need a ride into town and an extra hotel stay
- Hire a long tow to your home
- Get a ride to your home, and then rent a trailer and/or borrow a truck to haul it
- Etc.
