I had a FB account in the early days where you needed a college address to register. Got rid of it years later thankfully without posting anything meaningful there. Just nope nope nope.

FB is an excellent growth stock. I just sold a block with a net profit of $25k. No complaints. So glad grandma grumpy doesn't bother to ask what's in the brokerage account.

Did you do it yourself?
Any shims needed for alignment? I have a magnetic 15 GT PP, and have been looking to make a change on the car. Thanks
Did it myself. No shims were needed. Just average adjusting to fit.

Test fit my wheels again. This time it was to look at two different tire sizes on the car. 295/35/19 in the front and 305/30/19 in the rear. Gonna end up going with the 305s and gonna need quite a bit of low to minimize the wheel gap.

I don't list anything on FB Marketplace or even browse the ads. Oh, I don't actually have a Facebook account that is always activated. I activate my account only when the local car club announces they are planning an event.
I’ve found some fun things in the S550 for sale group. Bought 1 thing and might be up to 2 if/when the last guy I messaged hits me back.

Drove it to work hoping it's a quiet day that we close at noon or 1PM AND hope we don't need the F150 for anything.
If so, an afternoon cruise is in the works.

Switched out the stock clutch assist spring for the Steeda 35lb spring. Muuuuuuuuch better . Took a spin to test it out and really like the feel. There is a little bit (.5inch) of travel before you hit some resistance depressing the clutch, but the feel is a big improvement over the stock clutch spring.

IMO FB Marketplace is only for beater cars, most of the people on there are rude, poor, and want a perfect vehicle for $500. Lmao
Guess it depends on location. I sold the '11 Silverado I had bought for my son. Sold in 1 day, full asking price. It definitely wasn't $500. I helped a co worker sell a $40K collector car and a garage full of motorcycles - all on FB marketplace. I've sold a few other vehicles as well. None were even close to $500.

What's always worked for me - set the price about 20-25% HIGHER than the amount you'd be happy sell it for. Odds are you'll get an offer for this price - buyer thinks he negotiated you down and you got what you wanted.

I just ignore low ball offers and stupid crap. The comments always come from when you post a car for sale in Facebook groups that have to do with that kind of vehicle. Every FB member of every group is an expert.

You'll know right away if someone is serious. Plus I find it entertaining with people who message me "I'll offer your $8000 right now - cash." I always respond with "What other form of payment did you'd think I'd take?"
