A few peeps above are definitely showing symptoms of butt hurt, they should see their doctor to see if all okay.

The secret transition from the 4.6 to the 5.0 was truly a cause for being butt hurt, but not this time.

You have to admit the 18s are a significant upgrade, I'm definitely butt hurt . The only consolation is that for the one I want it would be a 50k'er and although the 18 look grew on me I do prefer the look of the 15-17, it's too bad they didn't have the 18's design come out in 15 and vice Versa so we would have the kick ass performance and good looks.

I keep asking myself now if it's worth modding my 17 or perhaps waiting for a good deal on an 18 and to pay down my 17 a bit. The gen 3 whipple is helping me make that decision though and thank God there is still some development going on for our old and busted 15-17's .

What I do find interesting is that the title is for butt hurt owners to come in and a majority of responses are from owners saying they are not butt hurt.

It should be no surprise that a newer model should be better than the older one. Butt...is it worth it to you is all that matters.;)

I'm pretty sure I could get a 18 6spd deep into the 11's with just slicks. There running 119 mph coupled with a 1.6 60ft or better should make for a low ET. What kind of 60ft can a stock auto cut with drag radials?

Pretty sure it was meant as sarcasm.

Yes and no. Some guys are 100% happy with there out dated sexy looking 2015-2017 and some guys are wishing they would of held out for a 18 before doing some mods or held out a little longer before buying the 17. The 18's have no effect on me because I decided long ago I'm holding out until the next gen or something else possibly but my butt is still hurting just a bit. No matter what I'm excited to see the performance of the 18's but it does come with a hefty price and looks that are in the eyes of the beholder. So let the butt hurting continue!:headbonk:

I only see a possible 7 litre motor and I think the V8 will be gone. If they go 7 litre I hope they keep the original “Ford Racing” castings like on the original racing engines that greeted me daily at this parts company here in Canada. They make the Ford GT now and by rights I have more of a connection to that car but I can’t afford it or get it. The 7 might get me to pull out my wallet again as I always l lusted after the big motors as a kid. This may be the last chance.

Anyway as I said before there is no 2018 V6 so my but hurt is just a mild case of hemmoroids. But if I got a 2017 GT, those dynos and track slips would be killer especially with the guys gushing over their ordered 2018s. I sympathize...
