This is going to be a game changer
10 speed auto is going to be a headake,I am curious like everyone
but I dont see it yet as an advantage . The more power you add to a car
the less gears you want. Hence why drag cars are 3 and 2 speeds

First I'd like to send a huge shout out and thanks to Whipple SC for once again supporting their customers with incredible products and support :headbang: Also a huge shout out to Lethal Performance for always bringing the most current Whipple goodies to the market and their support :headbang:

With that said I have read through the thread and greatly appreciate all the specs and info on the new Gen 3. I have a Gen 3 on order and yesterday I was able to sell my Gen 2 blower to a friend for $2K. He'll be placing an order for the Stage 2 kit from Lethal "WK-2620S2-PARTS = 2015+ Stage 2 complete parts box **SUPERCHARGER NOT INCLUDED** $4495 retail" so he'll be into it for $6495.00 which is a nice savings off a new Stage 2 kit at $8,195.00. The $1700 savings was enough for him to get into a Stage 2 rather then go a different route. I firmly believe there will definitely be a market for the used Gen 2 blowers as it offers up a Stage 2 Whipple kit at a price level to a group of buyers that otherwise not want to or be able to spring for a new Gen 3 kit.

Looking forward to getting the Gen 3 kit on and feeling the difference :headbang:

Can you post a link to the lower part?
Can't find it on your website ?
Definitely a nice option for if you plan to stick to low boost and have no plans to build the motor ...like with Voodoo.

Well, if you couldn't see it coming lol, I pulled the trigger and ordered a G3 :headbang:

Mine is listed up for sale for anyone interested. Great chance to finally get a color if you are like me and went black the first time.

As noted before, be sure to hit up Matt@Lethal for the kit of choice to turn this into a full setup at a nice price

If you buy a used Gen 2 from someone upgrading to a Gen 3 will Whipple honor the warranty for the new buyer or will it be considered used and no warranty transfer?

TIA

Stage 2 new is 8195.00 + 200.00 for gen 3 upgrade = 8395.00

Used gen 2 head unit average selling price 2500.00 + 4495.00 = 6995.00

Whipple has sales throughout the year at 15 % off which puts the 8395.00 down to 7135.00 brand new gen 3 rotor set sounds like a no brainer to me, especially with black Friday and Christmas around the corner.

That same 15% off can be applied to the non head unit kits as well

This still keeps the price much lower

True I guess it just depends on what you can afford but for me I would spend the extra and get the latest and greatest especially considering the power gain potential and prefer new.

Plus keep in mind the $2500 price being asked is for a powder coated blower ($600 cost). Granted this route won’t be for everyone but I firmly believe there will be a big enough market for the used Gen 2’s for those that want to sell & upgrade. Will take some effort but everything in life takes effort  There will also be a big portion of customers that will go the new route for the extra money So sounds like the best of both worlds.
