No one ever levelled criticism at Rembrandt for just being good at painting. Stick with it mate and try colouring in the horses. Maybe do a hunting scene on the hood etc.

Kraken is finished. Got some (fake) carbon bits to whack in my interior, will see how they look...
Kraken finishing touches was reinstalling painted rad cover, Air raid MIT and Air box. Rad cover has been refinished black. Air raid also black, and air box in race red. !

So what did I do today, hit the limiter many times thats fucking what, how do you guys without tunes cope with just 7000rpm, guess you get used to it but damn annoying.

Tried 0-60 couple times, completely stock car tune wise, did a 4.8s and a 4.9s. I tried launch control too but everytime I did launch control I was either doing something wrong or the car won't measure 0-60 when using LC, just said OK to start but was stopping on a public road (national SL) so might of being rushing it, shame as one of the LC launches the car hooked and just flew, felt proper fast, the other attempt bogged, neither measured though. I will say though launching the car on Ford's stock map is so easy, due to torque limiters literally floor it and clutch out, torque limiters do their stuff and off you go pretty drama free. Can see how some have cracked 4.5s on stock cars if it all comes together.

I also did a free horsepower mod potentially, credit goes to Kelly from BMR though but in datalogging on stock map max maf flow was 42.76lb before more and 43.50lb after, does that mean its real power? Probably not but as it cost zero why not do it. Will post a new thread.

I also fitted a load of cheap Chinese plastic bits to interior, pictures to follow, cost pennies but quite handy.

Also got some carbon splitters which seem to have no apparent method of fitting, LOL. Chinese junk for ya.

I can confirm stock intake is king for IAT's, as such its staying put when it comes to MY18, convinced that out on the real road a CAI gains little to fuck all, just for the dyno queens. Missing the power of the 350 manifold though, car was stronger everywhere, though unfair to compare as car is un-tuned at present.

Shaun the superstar has offered me a custom tune for it and I've still got my JDM/Ford PP1 tune as well which I shall plonk on.
