Thanks Chris! I appreciate your kind words! I am really enjoying the Stang now that I have the first set of base mods done. It was really a tough stretch with the exhaust issues as it affected how I felt about the car overall. It's strange that it could make that much of a difference. Also very pleased with the appearance and ease of maintenance with the Modesta coating.. My 19 year old daughter has been home all summer working 3 jobs as she prepares for college this fall... so my normal daily driver (Mazda SUV) has been Hijacked the whole summer! Which means I've had to use Hidalgo for a daily driver. Not exactly how I envisioned it, but I can't complain :-) If I get stuck out in the rain or bad weather it stays pretty clean as the water repels off the surface..

Hey, that sounds great. Just PM me whenever you are going up that way and we'll see if we can make that happen. Would love to meet up with you and hear that Corsa Extreme exhaust! Also would like to get your input on Autocross events. There is a Fox Valley Auto Club that does some events locally that I am thinking of checking out...

Definitely do it! They are fun no matter what. You won't win anything with the stock tires on, but you can definitely enjoy controlling the car at the limit, and it's cheap and very low risk

Llumar Ceramic CTX Window Tint 50% on side and rear windows. Also applied AIR80 clear tint to the windshield to block UV Rays and help with in cabin temperature. Was thinking of going with 35% but decided to go lighter, more subtle with the darker color. I think it turned out well. Not the best shots with my camera phone in direct sunlight, but wanted to give a general idea. Will try to get better pics later...Just an FYI.. if you get this done you cannot put your windows down for 5-7 days.. really hot and humid right now so a bit uncomfortable until the AC kicks in..

Experimented with a new waterless wash product. Ultima Wireless Wash. Was using Chadwicks, which worked fine but not a good value for the $. I was told you should get 5-6 washes out of a bottle, but that just did not hold true. Maybe I was using too much but with a waterless wash I wanted to be sure the area was lubricated. The Ultima product is diluted 1/2 ounce to 22 ounces of water. I was amazed by how well it cleaned and the shine and enhancement to the Modesta coating....

Thanks RJ! I am pretty pleased at how they turned out... My daughter was going to edit them, but I told her they look pretty good as is.. trying to assist her with her hobby and so who could pass up a chance to take come pics of their ride! I can't wait to get some new wheels as I think it will complete the look I am after...
