So you are saying that by installing Whipple's new Intercooler your CHT is lower due to cooler fluid circulating through the supercharger?

Just curious as I plan on getting this next, just purchased the Mishimoto rad.
I'm an idiot, disregard.:headbonk: I confused CHT with IAT's from Mr. Whipple's explanation below. Totally unrelated, and I have no way of monitoring IAT2's, my bad:crazy:

"Temps stay 10-20deg cooler at all times during normal operation. Also has fast recovery time for applications like road courses."

Thanks to everyone for posting up their reviews and photos. I have a black one that will be going on the car when the new 5.2L motor is completed and installed :headbang:

very nice!
Curious about the details of your 5.2 build.

Care to share?

I also have 2 MMR built/sleeved 5.2's paired with GT 350 heads going in my GT's.

One of them has already been in my Hellion car,but is now back with MMR to look over after a blown head gasket .

Waiting to install the other on my KB car along with the Tremec swap.

Nice tank. Is that a temp sensor in the tank? Running the Whipple pump with that setup? Where are you routing the the lines under the car?

Thanks Roh! Hopefully will be keeping those IAT's in check!

Thanks Rock! I believe that is wiring for the pump that is inside the tank. The lines will be run down the right side of the car, up to the new Whipple heat exchanger.

I have the Tig vision version in my KB car with the in tank Rue pump.

It did not last a few 100 miles before it died

I would change the pump to something external.

How is this better without the fans? I would think my temps would be cooler with the fans since they are always on. While idling at lunch for 30 minutes I am seeing CHT up to 215-220 at 80 degrees outside. I am just not understanding it.

Yeah...same pump I have. It seems to be hit or miss. I plan on upgrading it eventually.
