How do you know if you have ping?

If yours has it, it is fairly easy to reproduce; 2nd gear at 2800 rpm and moderately accelerate and as you climb up towards 3500 rpm you will hear it.

ok boys.. i have still not received any concrete info on this. .. does water affect the CAI .. on pp2.. i am talking about by driving in rain and water seeping into vents.

Because as of now i have not seen any water traces on my closed box as well. so i am assuming that the water does not get into filter and even if it does a litle how does it affect

I would also like to hear back on this because I'm at the point of swapping out the hood with a GT350 hood to insure it doesn't leak water into the CAI.

If by "concrete info" you mean you want proof of impossibility... it won't happen. In the physical world there are always statistical anomalies.

I'm running the GT350 Cold air intake with Lund Racing tunning on E85. As for the filter skin, I believe I'm running the 4.5 x 9 filter skin for the stock size GT350 filter.

I'm getting my PP2 installed at a Ford Dealer tomorrow. I noticed it didn't come with any installation instructions, are they going to know what to do? I

I'll report back in my first impressions tomorrow.

EDIT : Ah, I see Ford Performance has instructions available online. I'll print them out and include them with the parts just to be sure. I know it's all pretty basic stuff, but I want to make sure it's all done right.

Quick question. how much is the installation? was planning to get pp2 aswell and have ford install it for warranty lol
