Actually MagRide in normal mode is quite noticeable in my mind. My 350 is more road complaint and beats you up less than my friend's bone stock WRX, my old '11 GT with Koni Sports, and another one of my friend's stock suspension S2000. You still feel bumps don't get me wrong but it's not a HARSH feeling. It's not Cadillac MagRide system as it was tuned for a different purpose but it does its job and does it very well. This is also a 3rd generation MagRide system. It's come a long way.

Buy neither! Wait for the 2018 mustang gt or save yourself some money and get a brand new camaro 1le for just 40 grand if you think its a good looking car and have no brand loyalty. Honest opinion here, the gt350 is way overpriced for what it is.
Have you driven one? Price proposition, 1LE > GT350 > Mustang GT Performance Pack

But it's all in how much you want to spend.

One thing that you didn't hit on about the GT350 that would cost serious money on a lower tier Mustang: the brakes. I cannot believe steel brakes could be this good and I've driven some pretty serious cars with some pretty serious brakes. They feel like some carbon ceramic applications. "How would you know...?" Ask me.

If you can wait, I think the 2018 GT PP with 10-speed auto & magnaride is going to compete with a GT350....
as well as a 2015 GTPP (heavier w/435hp) did to a 2013 Boss 302 (444hp).

I think the faster auto transmission, and higher hp DI engine combined with the same magnaride shocks will put the 2018 on nearly equal footing. The only thing that will keep the GT350 ahead will be the wheels and a little more hp.

For a lap. They need support like lines and fluid to keep consistent. If you're just street or autocross, they'll be more than fine. There actually isn't much a difference between the GT350 and the GT PP stopping distance, probably by a few feet but the 350 can do it again and again and again and again and again and again and again...if that's what one is looking for. The 350 is about CONSISTENCY, not just peak numbers. If BMW were to have done a new M3 with some actual character, I would imagine this is how it would feel. It doesn't win on the first go but will beat you down with endurance. But with the OP's point, you have to want one or use it. If someone is just looking for big power, it's not the car for you.

I have a tech pack 16 GT350, a premium Auto /recaro with hellion twins (has been 9.5@147 and now makes 1100 rwhp @18 psi with a sleeved 5.2/GT350 heads) and base, M6 with built 5.0/GT350 heads with a 3.2 KB that makes 950 rwhp. It will soon also have a sleeved 5.2 and built Tremec.

As you can imagine both GT's out power the GT 350 and the auto is nicer inside with the Recaro's....... but if I ever have to make the decision to keep one it would be the GT 350 without a doubt....... I will just have to give up drag racing too.

OP,
If you have the time you are more than welcome to come drive the cars back to back to help your decision...... with traction control on!

We use magnats because magnets are overrated. :headbang:
I know how to spell magnet. But I actually thought "Magnaride" was spelled that way as a trademark. I just looked it up and realized it was spelled MagneRide.

Thank you sir .

I am hoping I never have to make that decision ....unless of course I get tempted by the next halo mustang .

Thing is I have $$$$$ in mods in each GT and would take a bath if I ever went/tried to trade .
I could always hope for an enthusiast to sell them to or demod
which would be a pain .
