Do you know the make/model of the microphone? While out at Barber this past weekend I met Russell with the YouTube Channel "Russ and Adams Garage" and he was kind enough to hook up a GoPro with an external mic for one of my sessions. The sound turned out great! Hope y'all enjoy the music!

Super sweet! Did you guys ever figure out what happened to the metallic noise on the vette?
The car looked like it was brand new, or close to it. Nice meeting you too...PM your contact info when you get a chance. Not for sure, we think the flex plate has some bolts backing out, but not for sure. He was down for the rest of the weekend and car will have to go to the dealer. Was great meeting you this weekend!

Our experience with the C6 was not that good as well. The GT350R is a better track weapon due to reliability, among other things! It was, he had just finished the break-in process and that was his first track day, for him and the car. Hate the weekend didn't go as he planned.

Awesome, thanks for letting me know! It's an Olympus ME-51S. See the note below for more details from the guy that hooked it up to my car.
"Olympus ME-51S Stereo Microphone. I don't remember which wind muff I had on there.
If you use it with a GoPro be careful to support the audio cable where it goes into the side of the camera or it'll break.
You'll need an audio cable adapter for a GoPro and you'll need an extension cable too."
