I wish I had the road surface to do that. Anything over 100+ around here, the roads are so uneven and just poorly surfaced, you'll bounce off the road and into a tree.

Had the pleasure of some U.S. freeway driving last summer. That was glorious. First time I wound the car out and put it into 6th, I thought the engine died. 6th is a huge drop, even in the PP cars from what I hear.

Are the Euro GT-PP cars shipped with different rear gears. Because I have a GT-pp with 3.73 and that is no way my car is coming close to hitting 160 mph in 5th gear.

I don't believe the Euro-Spec cars have the Performance Pack available to them. I think they are all 3.31-equipped cars. (Please, Correct me if I'm wrong!)

The fastest ive had my 15 gtpp was 149 on hwy 99 south of 290. There is a good stretch where it is flat and straight. That was when she was totally stock. She felt very stable. I was in 6th gear.

99 south of 290 in Mexico is what you meant I'm sure :-).

Glenn G hit that mph or really close quit a bit in his EB and never mentioned wind noise that I'm aware of. It would be interesting if he chimed in.

Had my 16 PP GT up to 162-164 twice (beauty of being an Airport Manager). It gets to 145-146 quite quick (top of 5th), 6th is a bit taller gear, but it still pulls strong, just not as hard.

I did a 162 mph pull, can't say much for the window seals as the windows were down, man that was a blast. Ran out of gear in 5th at that speed and slowed down.
