My car, partaking in some Bahn-storming in Germany.

The window seals give up and go home at 135mph. Thanks for the high-speed testing Ford!

Impressive! I was surprised how quickly the car continued to accelerate even past 100 mph.

Nice car & video.

I havn't had the ?pleasure? to test my window seals at that speed yet. It's on my to-do list for this summer when I'll show my pony the Nurburgring :paddle:

It gets very, very loud!

Would be interesting to know if yours do the same.

Nice to see the GT pull hard to 164 mph. Me and Pecos Rd have a date in the very
near future.

To be honest, its extremely stable right up to 165mph. The wind noise makes it very 'stressful', if thats the right word. The amount of concentration needed means that I dont like to keep the high speeds up for that long. Plus, passing trucks with a speed difference of 100mph will (probably) eventually lead to disaster.

Between 80-120mph is my comfort zone, and the car will do that alllllll day long.

Ive done a run on the AB before, before I fitted my PMAS and LUND tune. Although you feel the difference all the way through the speed range, its from 100mph+ that the LUND magic really starts to shine. Its just doesnt fall off or get weaker. Top stuff :)

Yeah, kept 100+ for long periods, absolutely no dramas, Mrs was egging me on actually, but as you say 100+ passing trucks is ball droppingly stressful ;)

What gear were you pulling to 160? 5th or 6th? It sounds extremely low rpm near the end of the video when you are holding 160. Did you shift to neutral and coast?

5th.

At one point in the vid I shift to 6th to see if it will still pull, and it does, albeit very very slowly. This is where a S/C would be handy :headbang:

99.99999% sure that pull to 160 was 5th.

6th is H.U.G.E.

*edit*
Just too late :( Well 5th confirmed :)

Actually Ford and GM wind tunnel test up to 155 mph, which is suppose
to simulate real world road conditions.

The fastest track around here will only get me to about 135 with the windows down. I'm probably never going to see a speed like that in my life, heh. Definitely not gonna try on a public road...
