I run my car at the track. Shift hard and drive it like it's meant to be driven. Have a 21 gtpp. I have replaced the shifter knob to a hurst. Since i have done that i have not had one missed shift under hard acceleration. I've also had a gen 1 and gen 2 mt-82 and other then lockout from 2-3...
The Continental extreme sports are on par with michelin . I run them on my 21gtpp manual and they are a great tire. I have ran them on the 1/8 mile track and they performed great. They actually beat the michelin on wet surfaces and dry just a tad lower for less money
For what its worth: the only thing i have changed on 21 manual is the shifter knob. Got the hurst 2 1/4" ball. Havent missed a 2-3 shift since installing it. Used to happen all the time with factory knob. Its been on since christmas with several track runs
That's a fair assessment. Myself would rather have every accessible na horsepower then go fi. To each their own. I know at the end of the day i would spend more money, but so be it. And i know that there is more power to be had fi. Doesn't mean chit to me
