Turbo kits with good components are not cheap. In 2010 (when I built my custom system), the intercooler alone was $1,200.

That price seems in line with the competing kits. I guess it comes down to "what you get" in the kit.

I was on the site, but I did not see any info on the kit there. Any way we can get a list ? Or did I miss it ?

You're gonna love it... If I were you, I'd add an alky kit to the mix with pure meth running. Keeps things cool and safe.

I will have a separate post up soon with details..

We use Tial wastegates, turbosmart or tial blow off valves (Customer choice), and Precision or Comp turbos. That's the gist of it.

Driver side is removed and replaced. It takes about 30 minutes to do.

That easily makes up for the $500 difference from the quote during R&D.

Go Manual. I love building boost in each gear on it's own.
Granted Auto is faster, but manual turbo is a LOT more fun.
