Is it just me, or does the S550 look awkward from certain angles?

Camaro and Challenger look even more awkward to me. Those two have large blind spots, so its more than just looks.

It does look kinda bloated form certain angle.
When they first came out with the design in 2013, I purposed this change.
Can you circle the differences? Looks exactly the same to me, but I was never any good at the spot the difference games...

In my opinion, the most attractive portion of the S550 is the rear end. Man oh man did Ford nail everything about it. Everything from the tail lights, the wide rear hips, the rear roof/glass, to the lower bumper/diffuser is perfect in my opinion.
I totally agree! I absolutely LOVE the ass-end of this car!

It's a good thing it looks so nice too, because that's the view most other drivers are accustomed to seeing!

Really? I find that angle to be better than the frontal 3/4.
Totally agree. It shows off that sleek fastback look.

I like that as well. Only issue is I really wish that Ford didn't push the tail lights out so far. It makes it look very wide and squaty in the rear. Then all that black panel has nothing interesting going on. Could've had a sweet pattern or texture there.

I think the problem with front is it does not have a scooped chin like most sports cars. It's rather flat in the front. The top part of the bumper is rather long making it look like a bit down look.
Steeda has a rather factory looking solution
You are correct.. It's awkwardness for me is the front. The rest of the car has great lines and looks great.

It does look awkward in stock form, but once the mods settle in, it starts looking real nasty.

Quoting pics for comparison
Least attractive angle to me.

I love it from every angle! Before the S550 I never gave the Mustang a second glance. From a kid in the 70's to now an adult, I always favored the Camaro, Firebird, Corvette, hot hatches like Golf R32 (had a Mark V) and Focus ST (had a 2013) and cars like Nissan Z, Toyota Supra, Honda Prelude, Acura Integra, and Mitsubishi Eclipse. The S550 Mustang is the first Mustang to catch my eye and I love looking at my car when I see it the morning, all day from my office window, at night before I go to bed, pictures on my iPad, and everybody's pictures on this forum.
While I've always loved Mustangs, this one is my favorite! I love the lines, just every inch of the car really. I too love looking at it all day, night, work, etc. I truly love this S550 Mustang!!

The body is lowered with wheel wells more into the body. That's the only difference.

I agree with everything murphy said except the thing about "hot hatches."
