Designed and developed by world champion drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. the S550 Mustang RTR features a distinctive grille that is unmistakable on the road.
This RTR upper grille features an integrated LED accent lighting that surrounds the grille’s vent openings to make it really stand out during night or day.
That’s because the “halo”accent rings use SMD technology to produce a super bright white light that not only shines more brilliantly but also consumes only 1/10th of the power of standard incandescent bulbs and rated at 100,000 hours of continuous use.
The RTR grilles also serve a functional purpose beyond its aggressive styling, with its unique design facilitating increased air flow to the radiator compared to the OEM grille, for improved engine cooling and performance.
M6G member Chameleon (Ed) is one of the first on the forum to install the lower and upper RTR Mustang grille with the integrated LED accents purchased from AmericanMuscle and he documented the install in a thread on the forums.
