Shelby American is now offering an upgrade package for the 2015 Mustang EcoBoost which inexplicably will be dubbed… the Shelby GT EcoBoost.
The new package will take a customer-bought Mustang EcoBoost and add functional bits such as the Ford Performance Track Handling package for improved front and rear shocks, lowering springs, sway bars and toe links, the Sport catback exhaust system, the Ford Performance short shift kit, as well as upgraded brakes, wheels, tires and carbon fiber hood and exterior aerodynamics package.
The Shelby GT EcoBoost is also tuned to deliver 20 more horsepower than the stock vehicle — for a total of 335 horses.
What will this package cost you? Oh, just $23,995… on top of the price of the Mustang EcoBoost vehicle. Which means the whole build will cost you a minimum of $50,000.
