If you’re a long-time reader of Mustang6G you know this is a rumor that won’t go away, but maybe the third (or fourth) time is a charm, as multiple sources are claiming that Ford will be bringing back the Mach 1 to replace the Bullitt Mustang in 2021.
Naturally, if we do see a 2021 Mach 1, it will receive a boost in power and performance over the Mustang GT and likely slot in between the Mustang GT and the Shelby GT350. Rumor has it that in addition to the power bump, its performance increase would come in the form of the Performance Pack 2.
No doubt a Mach 1 Mustang also has to look the part and we expect to see a black shaker hood and scoop, side stripes and spoiler. And the cover image to this story shows us how good that could look on the S550 body.
