Is the front grill pony removable? I was thinking about how a clean grill would look without it? Is there an 'anchoring' plate behind the pony?
the pony will be surrounded by a frame that is part of the grill mold. if you remove the pony, you are left with the blank frame. If you want a true pony delete, you would need a new grill so that you don't have the blank frame. i think the blank frame would look a little goofy.

I always thought it suited Storm-Trooper-style Mustangs quite well.

By the way - My wife wants to know what the red tree is
Euonymus alata

Yes, I had to ask what its called (Burning Bush).

Yes, I had to look it up. :headbonk:

I'm not familiar with plasti dip, what color/kind are you using? because like I said, the rear GT emblem looks amazing now.
The basic black plastidip, like this:

http://www.amazon.com/Performix-11203-6PK-Multi-Purpose-Coating-Aerosol/dp/B00E975MPI

I bought it at Pep Boys locally though. Its pretty easy to use, just clean the surface, don't try to put too much on, start with a fog coat, and be patient. I tend to try to tear it off too soon, luckily I forced myself to be patient on the '15.

Yes, but as Patrick said below, it would require a new grill to get a "no pony" look.

As far as how its anchored, I couldn't see and couldn't get my hands back in far enough without taking parts off.The pegs are plastic, so I didn't want to break it, and since there isn't a replacement pony that I could find (yet) and i was just Plastidipping it for now, I left it alone.

Yeah, seems like the aftermarket peeps need to get their butts in gear. I want performance parts, emblems, grill options, etc etc. :D

Yeah, plasti-dip until NOS badging is available (GT and Pony). 5.0 emblems are available now ~$45 a pair.

Going to take a look at using Oracal 8300 for the turns and backup.

Nite shades works well (my brother has a 2009 he has used it on.) My worry with DHT's Nite Shades is removal. I have read good results and bad results from people trying to take it off.

I haven't messed with it yet. The heat/cool buttons also have LEDs that are too bright, and they don't seem to be controlled by the dimmer buttons.

Its like a Disco up in here! ;)

damnit. you're just slowly killing me over time. bright lights are one of my pet peeves. for example, people who somehow have their phone's brightness on full....blinding (lowest default setting without root access is still ridiculously bright for nighttime).

Agreed, for night driving to be sure.

I might actually Nite Shade the LEDs :)

The screens, especially the touch screen, is more problematic. I would never spray anything on it, and Oracal 8300 is thin, but probably not thin enough for a touch screen.

Sounds like an electrical mod is needed. :)
