Howdy Folks,

I wanted to see if I could just cross check the facts, get a little more input, etc., all in one place (vs. the other spacer threads scattered all over ...)

So assuming:

Perf Package wheels
Possibility of moderate lowering (BMR SP080, Steeda Sports)
Factory spec camber (or just the very slightest additional)
Spacers with built in studs (vs. slipover style)

Spacer fitments/mods/requirements are like so, sizes are in mm:

25f / 25r
A little poke, i.e., not perfectly flush (or less) fitment, can be made more flush with aggressive camber settings, readily available from multiple sources

25f / 23r
Rear fitment a little improved, available through specific suppliers

20 front or rear
Near perfect fitment (flush to slightly "under flush"), but requires slight trimming of factory studs

15 or less
Requires significant stud trimming, probably into dangerous territory

(... and any of the smaller sizes 20mm or less can be had in a slipover that requires OEM studs to be replaced)

Fact checks / questions:

The required stud trimming for a 20mm spacer leaves enough threads to be way into the safe range (of turns on the lug)

The front wheels sit further in, so aren't pushed out as far by the same sized spacer vs. the rear wheels

The "best" fit (from my perspective, the least poke), with the least stud trimming would be a 23mm front (no trimming), and a 20mm rear (rear studs to be trimmed)

Do trimmed studs make it much more difficult to start a lug (since you lose the taper)?

Availability of the 23mm? High quality sources?
