well they're exhaust manifolds not much to see until they're fitted and there's a proper tune on there to see what benefits they give :)

although they are very shiny in the picture.

Benefits are freaking huge on a RHD car, Streetfighter, X-force and several RHD owners in other regions have done this mod.

Tune, headers and CAI will give around 100BHP. :)

So looking at about 40 from the manifolds alone? and torque increases ?
They're damn expensive so for me would have to be justifiable if you can get 40-60 from just an intake and good tune for sub ÂŁ1k (including flash box doofer) then another 1k on top of that at least for the manifolds would have to give some serious gains not just bhp but torque and general driveability/pull

They are poor value for money power wise, but they do bring sound improvements as long as your happy to put up with more noise in the cabin as headers make the car a lot louder inside when you punch the throttle. There is no getting away from this with LT headers, because stock shorties are in the engine bay and most the sound is isolated from you by the bulkhead, with LT headers that sound is directly under you and it really fills the cabin at full throttle, but in fairness they generally sound absolutely bloody incredible. Almost to the point of having open headers! :D

CAI + Tune: 50BHP (ÂŁ1000)
Headers: 40-50BHP (ÂŁ2000 Kooks), Enoch can let you know cost when he takes delivery of Streetfighter

If you just want a big horsepower increase and bang for buck. Buy yourself a Pro Charger HO full Kit, talking ÂŁ5000 and your gonna gain around 200BHP with scope for gaining a lot more. :)

The above pricing can be improved upon if you shop around and message vendors they are always happy to do nice discounts.

For me its not about the cost as such but I just have to justify it if i'm spending that much. it may only be 10 hp extra but if it improves drive-ability and enjoyment massively (think small but major improvement mods to suspension as an example) then its worth it.

For me the headers i'm struggling to justify it at the moment. If Enoch (or you since you have a manual) come back and they've helped you eliminate flat spots in the power bands or increase low down pull massively as they've increased torque massively even if only a small bph increase then they'll probably be worth it.

I'd prefer to stay NA rather than going FI but I'm also considering lightened & balanced crank, small over bore and new pistons and rods and reprofiled cams. again not cheap but depending on how you set it up can really improve how it drives.

all this work on an auto .... some how feels like a waste of time :)
Perhaps you should come and run your manual next to my auto at a drag strip...

It didn't end well for Gibbo....despite all his extra power:D:D

Tune eliminates flat spots, as flat spots are caused by driver demand torque tables in the ECU and timing/spark settings.

Best band for buck is a Lund tune, as it dramatically improves how the car drives, you can then add a CAI for a bit more power and noise. :)

My car has no flat spots, the freaking thing is now crazy now Lund have finished tuning it, stomp it at 1500rpm it snaps, 3000rpm or higher whiplash and it will happily scream to 8000rpm, though day to day driving I change at 7000-7500rpm, I value my motor. Before any of the American guys slap me, I know I know they can be revved much higher..... :)

drags are a waste of time for boyo's that can't drive (i'll await gibbo abuse).
pick a track though and I'll see you there :) I've got cadwell, blyton and donnington all within a sensible drive from me.

but drive ability and control goes straight out the window (full disclosure i despise autos with a vengeance as I drive with the engine not brakes)
Come back when you've had your knee joints replaced.....

Streetfighter?

Details...

Sent them an email a while back and heard precisely fuckall.
Rung em up....spoke to the boss:D.....

Details are that they supply their headers with 100 cell cats..... I wanted 200 cell, so they're providing these instead, but I'll have to get them welded up over here...

Price compared to Kooks..... well it's a no brainier.... I recon that even after paying duty, and having the extra work done, I'll be around ÂŁ500 to ÂŁ600 in pocket...

You were still being reeled in, just needed it be a 1/2 mile and not 1/4. :p

Though with those headers, Lund tune and Roush CAI your gonna be flying man, the American with those mods and street tyres are in the 11's, albeit 11.9s but its still an 11. ;)
