XL3 friction modifier for rear diff - PP?

It is in the factory fill for the Torsen for NVH reduction. Saw this from a guy on the forums that works for Torsen. Seems like most with the Torsen get enough friction modifier from whatever brand they go with unless you go with the Ford fluid.

Stupidly I purchased the factory ford fluid, and the modifier.

Do you have the info from the Torsen guy available?

I've done a bunch of online research and talked with a bunch of car guys and its the consensus that I should NOT put the XL3 friction modifier in the Torsen diff.

Dino or synthetic fluid is fine, of the factory specs (75w85).

If anyone has anything contradictory, post it up.

Mobil 1 LS gear oil has a friction modifier already
