I had called around today they didn't seem like they sell only want to program it but I get a price very from $45-90 which is sillyHave you tried your dealer? I bought one of those OEM one green button programmer for like 30$ (CAD) from Ford when I had my F150. Worked on a few other cars can't imagine it wouldn't work with Mustangs.
Here is videoWhere do I got the steps to program the tpm I got the programmer in eBay but need to know how to program it is the a instruction for mustang and maybe other units where do I go
Some dealers don't want to sell them so they can overcharge you for the programming service I guess. Good dealers sell them thought and I've found it's the cheapest place to get them. Amazon is close second.I had called around today they didn't seem like they sell only want to program it but I get a price very from $45-90 which is silly
I was quoted $135 and $200 to reprogram, so I know how the OP feels. It is small things like this that quickly weed out the dealerships that will never touch my car. One dealership told me that they would have to remount and balance everything and then reprogram lol. They also told me the part number to the tool didn't exist. But yeah anyone in the Columbia, SC area or even passing through, shoot me a PM and I will do them for free (or a 6 pack of non-pumpkin craft beer). :eyebulge:^^very nice of you! ^^
OP, call around. Hell if you came to my ford dealer I'd have a tech program the TPMS and wouldn't charge you, it doesn't take 5 minutes....
