Looking to quiet my car down. Currently have an x pipe with Steeda axle back. I love it but I don’t like that everyone in a half mile radius can here me accelerating. If you can get me one shipped for less than the price of a new one that would be great.

I had one with similar mufflers, a Tru-X is not going to quiet your car down (neither did the stock resonator). Replacing the mufflers was the answer.

From some other reviews people say it makes the car too quiet. I guess it all depends on the mufflers. I’m at least looking to get rid of the rasp that the x pipe produces. Even if it doesn’t make my car that much quieter, it should get rid of some drone and rasp I think.

OK two different issues there. Yes the Tru-X did help to quiet the rasp, just like the factory resonator, and was very quiet at certain RPMs. No it didn't help with the booming drone with those can-style mufflers.

These non restrictive resonators might be what you’re looking for! I’ve heard them first hand on a friends car with the LMR axle back and H pipe. Killed a lot of the drone and cleaned up the little rasp he had. Volume was slightly lower but mostly because of the drone being gone I felt. They have these is 2.5 inch in/outlet and also 3 inch. He had the 12 inch long ones welded just after the midpipe!
