Would PP Rears work up Front?

Understood, and good point on the backspacing. The problem I see is that many 9.5" and 10" will list as rear fitment. My fronts are "rear fitment" only and they are perfect. No clearance issues and still room left for outside edge of fender...again, on my 2008 S197.

S550, I have not clue, but am willing to guess "rear fitment" backspacing may work up front....but that's still just a guess.

I've been looking at S550s with the PP wheels at the various Cars and Coffee events...seems there room to grow from the OE 255 tire/9" wheel combo. Thanks for the feedback.

Are longer studs required or do the stock studs provide the needed 14 mm lug nut thread engagement?

With 5 mm no sir, I have done upwards of a 8mm spacer on stock studs we used special ET lug nuts thats all.

but in this case to use a GTPP rear wheel upfront 5 mm spacer no special gadgets needed and your fine.
