that's a great observation
are you concluding that the cp-e kit will not be competitively priced with MAP?
if you select a cheaper PTE turbo option, yes it will be priced similar to MAP's
if you select a higher priced turbo, the price will increase

4,300 buckos for the focus st kit!!!

over two to two and a half times the price for any of the other Focus ST kits on the market. I have yet to hear from a single person in the ST community that has this kit.

I have absolutely no reason to doubt that, especially coming from you, but at a certain point you gotta ask yourself is it worth it?
I mean i understand that that is what it costs, but is it worth it to spend that much money for a focus st kit?
Its like sticking 8k$ wheels on a civic for the street. Would totally stick em on a ferrarri not one thought, but on a 20k civic?
Dont get me wrong i absolutely respect a company that wants to put a kit of anything toghether using only the highest quality parts, put i also understand the people who just find it silly

and still doesn't address the simple fact that no matter what big turbo Focus ST kit you choose, they all run out of fuel @ 400whp, and right now Stratified is the only game in town with an aux fuel setup.

I would think that turbo would make more power on the EB than a Whipple would. Don't think the blower would fit well.
