Hi everyone, this is a bit of a long read but please bear with me, hoping to get some advice from some of the more electrically-inclined folks here.
I recently bought Triple Seven's Mach One bumper with GTE fog lights and am trying to figure out the best way to wire it up to my car. These GTE lights don't have any connectors, only a power and ground wire that needs to be wired into the car's systems. Triple Seven in their install video instructions () used T taps to wire in the lights to the fog and turn signal wires. My understanding is that T taps are the worst way to do this, and if using a similar method, should rather use Posi-Taps.
From what I've read the best way to go in an automotive setting is crimp the wires. This is the way I want to go and have two ideas to go about it but am not sure which is better.
My first idea is to strip a bit of the insulation away from the target power and ground wires and use open barrel crimps to splice the wires for my GTE lights. These wires would then connect to a deutsch connector that I can use to connect them to the GTE light wiring. This way I can easily unplug them in the future if I have to take the bumper off or something.
My second idea came from seeing how the RTR lights for the S550s were wired. These use their own little wiring harness with splices into the same targeted wires as the GTE lights so that they are plug and play.
I like my second idea the best to create my own plug and play harness but recognize this is more work than the first. I also am not sure how to find the right connectors to do this, and was wondering if anyone has any resources that might help me where to find them. I've been able to find the pigtails for one side:

However I also need the male end as well, if I want to create a little in-between harness. I found one that looks like it is correct, but I don't know if I trust this so if anyone has any other leads that'd be great:
