I know it's not desirable but I just ordered my new 15 and planed on moving to LA with it before the winter hit, but now I might stay in New York another year. Any advice for winter driving? Think the snow driving mode is really going to make that much of a difference? Or should you just not even do it.

Winter tires, drive according to the conditions, keep a safe distance and avoid sudden movements (if possible). You'll be fine, RWD with power has been around before traction control, ABS, and stability control. It's only getting better.

You will need winter tires. I am in Toronto, drove all winter with Blizzak LM-32s, no problem at all...
