I agree. As a former machinist, I'd much rather make the shifter ball and adapter as a one piece unit. It'd be easy to hold onto the adapter diameter and machine the ball end of it after, including the the shift pattern engraving. Using a CNC with a sub spindle, it'd be one push of a start button to make it in one step.

Speed dawg. I've ordered 2 for both my mustangs. The one on the 15 is recessed to fit lockout.

Buy a MGW race spec shifter and then any shift ball will work! :-)
