Who is collecting their car on 1 April?

There's been a lot of chat on here about the pros/cons of waiting until the new VED rules come into force before registering your car.

I for one took chose to wait, as I know others have, and am now incredibly excited about picking my car up on Saturday. I'm off to the bank at lunch today to transfer the balance of funds to Ford, and then hoping to get to the dealer and pik up my car about 10am on Saturday.

Who else is in the same boat?

I am picking mine up Monday (sadly busy all weekend) saw a photo of the car arriving at the dealers..... Its been a long wait but I can't wait until Monday...... Tuesday up to Modurstang for the first few mods!!
Even my kids (18 and 15!) are really keen to go and get her!!

I remember making the 80 mile train journey to the dealership in Edinburgh on April 9th last year like it was yesterday. Very exciting. Congrats to all collecting in April

best month to pickup the car, I think I picked up a day before the 'Mustangs birthday' but [MENTION=6364]Twin Turbo[/MENTION] can probably confirm that (as I picked up april 16th think they were released or announced or something on the 17th)

Yep, April 17th is recognised as Mustang's birthday. This was the date, in 1964, when they first went on sale

My dealer said there were 4 others being picked up (in addition to mine) this weekend! Mustang weekend!!
Although I doubt they will be delivering anything else (other Ford models) as they cleared 800 cars in March... ahead of the Tax changes.
