Do anybody know if you have a custom tune will you be able to change the rev limit on your car yourself or will your tuner have to do it?

You can do it with SCT, but you have no reason to increase the rev limiter, I can assure you. The stock computer shuts down the party at 6800 rpm. You are not making power up there anyway.

No, it will bang the limiter. You need to change the actual shift points. Torrie does this with the tune.
