Looks great on Todd's car because he only did the Good year portion. Keeps it classier, imho. You painting the spoiler or leaving it black Todd? I just ordered an actual GT350 spoiler when I found out they are ~400. Debating on painting it to match the car or leaving it the gloss black they come in.
Thanks buddy!

I am leaving the spoiler the satin black as I love the finish, it looks perfect and goes well with my Ingot. It matches the rocker panels and front PP splitter, too.

I like the look, but it might be mostly a generational thing. I grew up in the 70s and early 80s, when every sporty car had white letter tires, and every family sedan had white walls. Now I just naturally associate this with performance, even if it is little white bits of rubber in the shape of letters stuck to the sides of the tire.

I can tell you this though, if one of these tire companies would take the hint and just start offering a white letter tire option in a Z rated tire that would probably be my next set of shoes.

Things I like:
Relatively cheap "mod" for the visual impact
Looks really great on white Mustangs with black wheels
Easy to apply

Things I don't:
Does the glue holding the letters to the tires weaken the sidewalls at all? Not sure if the glue makes the sidewall any thinner or would generate weakspots.
I already have nearly 3,000 miles on my car. Not sure how long these Pirellis will last, so I might wait to do this mod until the next set of tires.
the Pirelli letters don't match.

What I'd really want is letters made to match exactly the letters on the tire. I don't need them to be so oversized the stretch from the rim to the pavement.

They look ok on the higher profile tires and older cars. On something modern with lettering taking the entire height of the tire it looks pretty bad and cheap IMO.

And telling everybody you have P-Zeros ? Really ?

As some already said, this look was the shizit back in the 60's & 70's. Even then with it molded into the tire, they started looking like crap pretty fast and there were special paint sticks & cleaners to keep them white. Will be interesting to see how any sort of stick-on thing fairs on a tire over time, especially those in the northern states what it will get salt etc. during winter. For sure you will be totally screwed if you curb one.

You still see it on stock cars because it's advertising for the tire companies!

Personally, I'd have spent 1/2 that & put black lugs on the wheels instead - but whatever makes you happy - it's your ride :D
