Im planning on buying new rims and tires but new to buying rims and tires and can't decide which route to go. My car is a 2015 V6 and my daily.

Trying to decide between American Muscles performance pack wheels 19x8.5 with 245/45/19 tires or the SVE Drifts 19x9.5 with 275/40/19 tires.
I'm looking for a slightly more aggressive look than the current stock 18x8 wheels I currently have on the car but also retaining comfortability for daily driving. Not sure if these wheels and tires will look and feel pretty similar or if one option is better.

Another question I had is living in Upstate NY we get days in the spring/fall that are below 50 degrees so should I go All Season Tires or Summer tires? The car will be stored or with winter tires from November-March/April.

Thanks in advance for any help

A 255/45R19 is a pretty tall tire. Stock GTPP fronts are 255/40R19. Just some food for thought. Also, have you checked out the classified section here? There are often stock GT wheels that come up for sale at a good price. Good luck.

Sorry typo meant 245/45/19 if I go with the performance pack wheels. I checked the classifieds but from what I've read the stock PP wheels from the GT would be too heavy for my V6?

They are a "Heavy" wheel, but they will still work on a V6 car. 300hp right... you're good to go.

hmm well I wish I could help but with the tires you want to run for sure your limited to
8.5-9 front width's and rear 9.5-10 width, but you being from NY I completely understand why you need those specs and tire sizes. having a summer and winter set can be expensive at times.

I'm open to different tire sizes. I've never driven a car long enough to want/need to upgrade the wheels/tires so this is completely new to me. The car most likely won't be driven in the winter and if it is Ill end up getting winter tires for it.
The only thing I do know is that I want gloss black rims.

If you are going to upgrade and want an aggressive look, you can go with a 19x10 square with 275/40 all around. $2k with wheels tires sensors depending on your wheel choice.
Fits like a glove.
Paul at PK will hook you up.

And I PM'd you for a test drive.

Setup listed above:

You'll certainly be able to use those wheels, but does wheel weight play a significant part in what you'll ultimately decide on? I'm only asking because you mentioned it, but obviously a wheel with a lot of mass (aka heavy) is going to limit your ability to accelerate and decelerate, it's simple physics. If you're attempting to roll a wheel, if that wheel has a lot of mass, it takes more force from the motor to turn that wheel, and more force from the brakes to stop that wheel. If the wheel was lighter than what was previously on the car, then those aspects improve. Not only that but your ride quality with lighter wheels will be improved as well because the mass of the wheel plays a huge factor on speed bumps, potholes and other road imperfections. The more mass the wheel has, the more abuse your suspension takes because ultimately the suspension's job is to keep the wheel down on the pavement as much as possible to give you as much traction as possible. With a lighter wheel, it's easier for the suspension to do it's job properly and keep the wheel on the ground, whereas the wheel with more mass is going to be harder to control.

That guy up there ^^^

Yes he is definitely correct, thats why all of our wheels mentioned weigh in between
21lb -25lb per wheel, compare that to factory wheels your saving anywhere from 6-8lb per wheel plus consider that your going wider and getting more traction as well.
