When will we be able to have a custom background for our sync 3?

Ive heard rumors of an upgrade for a long time now, to allow us to put custom backgrounds on our screens. Any ideas when it might be available? if at all?

I havent heard any talk of that, but after Ford screwed us by not actually officially releasing Android Auto and Apple Car Play as promised, I wouldnt believe anything you read or hear
