Wheel Locking Kit

For those of you who ordered the Enhanced Security Package, were the locking lug nuts on the car when you picked it up?

If not, where did you find them?

I'm not even sure if I'm going to install them (since I hear they stick out pretty far), but they aren't in the trunk, glove box, center console...

I emailed my dealer, but thought I'd ask here, too.

I don't think they come installed on the car from the factory, so maybe they pulled them out of the car and forgot to install them during the PDI.

Shouldn't you be Order Price Tracking forum? Not sure cuz I'm still waiting on my car :frusty: but from what I've read it sounds like they were not installed at the factory. Good question...

You're right! I have to finish the Retail stats since more VINs were given out yesterday.

Too bad they picked the worst locks you can get with the Mcgard locks though. :thumbdown:

The locks are quite a bit longer than the other lug nuts and stand out like a sore thumb against the perf pack wheels. I took care of it myself and bought some much better locks that are lower profile.

But I still want the others... I bet I can sell them on eBay and make back some or all of the money.

I bought the Gorilla "The System" locks in black. This set comes with 20 locking lugs and a key and ran me something like $55 on Amazon.

Here's a pic of the three nuts, from left to right: Stock lug nut, McGard Locking nut, Gorilla locking lug nut.

I test fitted one already and will be mounting the rest this weekend.

Agreed. Just make sure you get the right size, the 2015's have a new lug size, 14MM x 1.50.
