Ok guys I am getting an itch to do something next, just not sure. I am open to any and all ideas (realistic and that will not void warranty).

So far I have a Race Red 2016 Mustang GT PP. Corsa CAI, Corsa Extreme CB (black tips), black badges all around, kept the stock PP rims, but replaced the horrible rubbers with Michelins, Pedal Max (warranty guy), Steeda subframe alignment kit, Steeda subframe bushing kit, Steeda rear diff bushings (red), Steeda trans bushing, Vogtland Sport plus springs (1.3" drop), Vertical links, and wheel spacers to bring the rims flush (25mm front, 20mm rear)...

EDIT: forgot that I also put low provide mud flaps on. You can barely see them but help with the tires sticking out a little with all the splash up the sides.

Next I am thinking about DD led kit inside and reverse light, struts/shocks, black vinyl just on the roof, and painting the bottom of the rear bumper (poor man's premium bumper) and using some high temp black paint on the mufflers so you don't see the shiny metal from the rear...

Let the opinions roll, no butt hurt comments or arguing...

Painting the base bumper is a beautiful thing. I just had it done in gloss black a week ago at Maaco for $140. It looks great and it costs a fraction of a new bumper

How is the warranty not at risk with the CAI?

No-tune CAI will not void your warrant. As long as you do not touch the computer and retain the stock MAF sensor...you should be good.

So the only reason I haven't done this yet, is I got a wheel/tire warranty that was just too good to pass up on. For $500 it covers my wheels and tires for up to 50K miles or $5K, whichever comes first...

Once that is gone, my overall warranty will be expiring around the same time and then it will be time to supercharge her and throw on some new shoes.

I did use the spacers to push the PP rims out and they look a thousand times better now.

Lighter wheels.

How is the warranty not at risk with the CAI?
It can be the basis for a denial, no matter what else anyone tells you.

If the CAI creates an excessively lean condition, a manufacturer can deny a warranty repair. I have heard of this happening with another major manufacturer and a CAI. Whether or not the manufacturer ultimately has to honor the warranty, would be determined in court, which is a huge pain in the ass and is costly.

Using a stock MAF sensor on a CAI which has different tube diameter, sensor placement, and filter flow can cause it to run lean. This can cause pre-ignition and detonation.

Ask the CAI manufacturer if they will indemnify you (in writing) in case of a warranty denial.
