Nah nah, we've got bigger news, my DRLs "Flicker" when the engine was on has been fixed, was sent a whole new set under warranty (DRLs included), and the driver box worked as the fix!

Fitted the Steeda clutch assist spring and Steeda heel 'n' toe accelerator pedal. Both are great additions.

Went back to Modurstang and had the CB005 put on, my coilovers raised a little and the borla resonator replaced with a Mishimoto H Pipe. Sounds perfect, not too loud on cold start, very happy. Could have probably got a similar result with the Corsa catback but this combination of the touring axelback and h pipe hits the sweet spot for me apparently!

edit: RyStang72 that looks phenomenal!
Jimmy, may I ask why you swapped out the Borla resonator?

I'm interested in the Steeda clutch spring - does it really make that noticeable a difference?
And how tricky is / isn't it to fit?

Washed and polished at the weekend and GT350 steering wheel fitted. Went also to fit the Airaid MIT but grommet missing... but thanks to Guy@NemesisUK who was on the ball as usual and all sorted with missing part having arrived in post today

Hunter alignment done this morning (need to go back and get the rear wheels checked... amount of negative camber on the rear looks a bit crazy). Bit of a half-arsed job to be honest as fronts still mildly out of spec but tech kept saying 'that's fine... it's only out the width of a hair'. Will take it to a proper alignment place when I'm over in the UK getting other stuff done in a few months.

It was good but the the corsa touring ab is not loud like the rousch for example, so it was only a little louder than stock if at all.

Sounds good with the h pipe instead, i can always swap it back if i change my mind.

That moment when your Mrs texts you to say "kerbed the alloys - bad".

Days after I commented how close she hugs the kerb when turning left out of junctions as I noticed skuffs on the tyre rubber.

Can't wait to get home now.

:tsk: get her to watch while you take a pair of scissors to her favorite pair of shoes/hand bag. So she knows how if feels!

Have you seen the damage? Is it bad bad?

Sh*t happens. They're black so you can easily and fairly successfully hide the marks with touch-up paint until she's completed the set then get them refurbished ;)

Irony is, I probably paid for the expensive hand bag in question... so is it really tit for tat

I like Steve's approach. Might as well wait now! I've sent her a reply to the pic of damage telling her to go buy a black marker pen. Response was 'why?'.

I love her really. :ninja:

Don't know how long you've been together, I've been with my other half going on 37 years, I've still to experience the day that she takes any advice or guidance from me, on ANYTHING :headbonk:

Get custody of the dog, it's the clubs anyway :first:

Just be like "Get me a black marker pen, some duct tape and a knife"

If she gets it, you're good, if she doesn't, cut up the handbag....
