What did you do to your UK S550 Mustang Today

Fitted Redline Elite quicklift hood struts today. A known issue was that the hood bracket for the passenger side didn't fit the RHD cars but shaving off the smallest amount from the bottom of the bracket with an angle grinder allowed it to be slotted on and rotated into position. Made some "gaskets" from a thick plastic pocket to separate metal from metal, just for the hell did of it! Useful things these pockets; previously fixed a toilet syphon with the same one
The whole process took a bit longer than Bill's 30 minutes but a simple enough process nonetheless. Drilled the battery cover in the wrong place so a bit of modification needed there :doh:
Also fitted brushed aluminium button covers for the map lights. Took about 20 seconds and looks good.
Unfortunately looks like I've taken a stone to the bonnet too though. Got a couple of chips and a small scratch. I know the GTECHNIQ isn't armour plate but I kinda had it in my head that I might get longer before the chips started appearing. These things are going to happen...so moving on.

What I didn't like about the line lock is that you have to press the brake so hard to get it to engage, I thought something was gonna burst!

That was where I failed, I couldn't get the last bar to light up.... I'll give it another go, but I suspect with my knackard legs, I may not have enough umpf to get the job done

I can't get mine working, it locks brakes up, but back wheels won't spin, it's if it's locking all 4 wheels up.

Dirty after two weeks driving so gave her a serious cleaning.

Took her out for a drive and took a few photos. Mines the Guard Grey/Green so the colour appearance changes quite a lot depending on lighting. I'm loving this car!

Since I didn't get this done at the same time I had the exterior done thought I'd do this myself.

Exterior treatment has put paid to my stripe plans too, vinyl won't stick to the exo or crystal serum, not much of an issue to remove the exo but CS has to be wet sanded off. No stripes for me.

I was wondering what my guard would look like with stripes as red and yellow look awesome. After seeing it i'm kinda on the fence, I don't love it, but I don't hate it either.
