Good man getting it before the tax changes, bet most of those waiting are for tax!Went to dealer:
Paid rest of deposit (scary how you can pay so much money via a 4 digit PIN)
Purchased lowering springs and paid for fitting (3hrs)
Was offered the chance to go to the dealers PDI centre to look at it, so why not! Had a sit in it and a general look around. Only got cr@p pics as the lighting wasn't very good.
But there were another 8 in the PDI centre and another 6 in their external compound so there are about to be a whole load more in Kent!!!
Also made a point of telling him that I wanted his best valeter on the cleaning job as there would be hell to pay if their valeter did anything to mar the paintwork (I'll be taking it to Ultimate Finish @ Brandshatch anyway, but that's beside the point)
Now I have to patiently wait until 4th March (pickup day)!
As it's a 'vert with some the options, once I'd plugged them into a spreadsheet, the "new" scheme didn't make any sense until I reached either year 7 or 8 of ownership. Had I not gone for a 'vert, I think I'd have waited.Good man getting it before the tax changes, bet most of those waiting are for tax!
