Vehicle Dynamics Module (Magnaride computer) The FP update kit I have also includes new S/W to update the computer for the lowered stance and different spring rates and sway bars. (Magnaride has 3 different modes and the new S/W changes each mode sort of like different tunes change the engine and gearbox (in autos anyway) in different performance modes.

I don't have magnaride,but i am probly going to update with good set of adjustable coilovers,
would have to look at prices of putting magnaride on and see how they compare.
I don't know a lot about suspension,so will have to find out more about it.

Hi Troy there'd a thread or two about retrofitting MR, doesn't seem like it's doable in any practical or cost effective way but you may be the first

Yeah I don’t think an MR retrofit would be easy or cheap. Have you looked at all the FP kits? No affiliation but they are well tested and complete and there are a few options for complete kits.
I bought direct from the US and inc shipping and taxes still saved heaps on AUS prices.

Have a look at this YT video for some initial info by FP and AM on the later FP suspension kits.

Wow. How many Kms and what sort of driving? I have a friend with an 18FN with 30k Ish Kms that was having gearbox noises and shift issues. Ford are replacing the transmission this week under warranty (metal chunks in the oil is all he has from them so far) and he is getting them to put in a new multi plate clutch he bought and supplied to them. (Easier and cheaper to do it now while the box is already out then wait and do it again)

I’m more interested to hear more about what was wrong with the gearbox after only 30k ish. He does not track it and looks after the car well and is not a “hoon menace”
He may get it back this week or next. I’ll try to get details.

It failed at 180kph upshifting to 5th from 4th on the main straight at SMSP/Eastern Creek.

The car has been pushed hard.

3x Targa Tarmac Rallies
2x Rally Sprint Events
3x Visits to the Farm
12+ Visits to Track Days at Eastern Creek/SMSP

Plus one or two other track / speed events.
