@TehEno G'day Harry I'm sure it'll be worth the wait . Will the Ford warranty be retained or does Tickford provide a separate type of warranty?
Hi mate,

Tickford provide their own warranty on anything they do and the Ford warranty is still retained for everything else.

My 2019 is at Tickford this week getting the supercharge pack plus other goodies added. I am going to go with a Cervinis upper and lower grille, was it easy to remove the front bumprer? If its a pain, I may just get someone else to do it.

Havnt even seen my car in person, dealer snapped me some pics before it want to Tickford, it arrived at the dealer from the boat, then off to Tickford. Been a long wait, but next week will be all worth it.
The car will be awesome. With the supercharger, I assume that you are getting suspension work done at the same time? Suspension is a bit of a dark art but I can confirm (having driven my 2017 for about 3 months before doing anything to it), that suspension changes are almost mandatory. Yoi don't have to go crazy but some small upgrades will yield you some big improvements. Enjoy - the car is awesome.

With the front bumper the job is not hard - just time consuming. Lots of fasteners top and bottom and in the inner guard.

Did you notice any difference after you fitted the strut brace and does it make it a pain in the butt to check the dipstick?
There is an improvement - but it's not earth shattering. It has definitely (incrementally) improved turn in/reduced understeer. Next thing to do is get the BMR kit CB006 as what is on top needs to be better supported underneath. Nope no issue with the dipstick (just needs to come out at a slight angle)

Had an RDO today and around 11am truck came up driveway with packages from mustang Motorsport, so got busy installed Steeda jacking rails and Steeda h-pipe , all on the garage floor so no photos sorry. Exhaust sounds so good now , very deep even at idle , just waiting on oil separator and I’ll be just about done , famous last words haha , oh and also went to VicRoads and swapped my personalised plates onto the stang , not a bad RDO . Cheers

I am getting some Steeda Progressive lowering springs done also when I get the car back. I was going to go through Tickford for the suspension but I didnt want to go all out that much and just wanted to get it lowered alittle.

Sounds like a pain for the bumper so I think ill get my body repair guy to do these for me who is aware I am bringing it past his shop when i get it.

Yes I'd get somebody to do it who is familiar with the way to remove it unless you have an afternoon to spare. Regarding the suspension - there are a fair number of threads on here which talk about suspension modifications - and more importantly why. Springs are great - a coilover kit is better. Vogtland or Eibach are probably the pick of the (German) sets along with shockworks and K&M. But if you are generating a serious number of horses from the Tickford tune and supercharger I'd be wanting more stability and suspension performance than stock.

Yup, its substantial so I may rethink the suspension. Ill drive it for alittle and see how it reacts and make a decision on suspension then, thanks for the tips.

At a minimum you'd be wanting springs and the BMR Lockout kit imo. But if you're splashing that kinda cash on a supercharger then 100% wider rims/tyres, coilovers and BMR Lockout or Steeda Kit

Harry you must be fizzing at the bung to get it back. Mate FWIW (feel free to tell me to mind my own beeswax) please be careful putting the power down at all, particularly in corners, until you get something to lock out the cradle as a minimum. I say this not because I assume you're inexperienced but because the ar$e end of these cars isn't great at the best of times and with a blower huffing away could be an unpleasant handful.

/Nanny out

PS don't think you're getting away without posting a dyno sheet

Hey Troy, is it your birthday? I like your cup holders. What is the embroidered thingy on the side of the console.

Hi Peter,
yeah another year older, still feel like i'm 18, the thing on the side of the console is a filler cushion.
for the gap between the console and the seat.
Mainly for older mustangs as our newer models don"t have the gap.
