I installed a CJPP H pipe, and am less than enthused with the sound. Picked up some rasp, particularly when cold (duh, resonator delete), but not really any tone.

Though dropping 10lbs and not roasting the trans tunnel is a nice change.

What axle backs work well with a pipe like this? I know Roush is said to be rough with this (despite how much I like roush cans, especially on my S197).

Thoughts? Looking for a throaty deeper sound that doesn't increase the overall tinny sound too much.

I have the same pips with the Ford Racing Touring mufflers. Great tone, not super loud. Bill from CJPP did a video with this setup. If you wanted louder the Ford Racing Sport is an option.
