Weird Paper Scratching Sound

Please keep me updated on what they say in regards to the noise. I might have to use another dealership. Coincidentally, my car seems to have stopped the noise after I brought it back home. I didn't think of heat shield though...that could be possible.

Will do. Calling the dealer tomorrow to see if my AC compressor is in yet. It's been two weeks since they ordered it.

It turns out the sound was something loose inside the cat. I got under the car and hit it with a rubber mallet. Something was clearly rattling in there causing that noise. Everything seemed tight on the exhaust and manifold. The dealer has confirmed it and is replacing the cat next week once they get the part in.
